Copyright
The legal right to exclusive publication, production, sale and distribution of specific photographs.When we use the term copyright on Shoot Bank it refers to the photographers owning the copyright of the photos, and thus owning the photos. When purchasing a photo, ownership is never assigned to the buyer. The buyer buys a license to use the photo.

What is royalty-free?
A royalty-free licence for a photo is bought for a one-off fee and allows you to use the photo an unlimited number of times for many different purposes. You can even manipulate the photos.
Most importantly royalty-free photos won't break the bank - they are affordable and you can buy depending on your needs.
There are of course restrictions on how the image is used but a royalty-free license gives the buyer maximum flexibility and freedom when purchasing a photo.
